A Mohel brings together religious knowledge, specialized training, and focused experience in performing Bris Milah. Unlike a general medical setting, a Mohel is specifically trained in the traditions, blessings, and precise techniques unique to this mitzvah.
Beyond technical expertise, a Mohel understands the emotional significance of the day. Families receive personal guidance, clear preparation instructions, and continued support through aftercare. Every step is approached with calm professionalism and compassionate reassurance.

"It is my pleasure and honor to recommend Rabbi Alex Wiener as a certified Mohel. We had the recent wonderful experience of using him for our grandson's Bris on Rosh Hashanah. He was professional, caring, and technically excellent. I have been an orthopedic surgeon for many years, and can certainly recognize quality care"
"Very skilled and compassionate mohel. I’m so happy I found Rabbi Alex Wiener for my son Bris ,best decision ever. He followed up with us, checked on my baby every 2hours to make sure everything was going smoothly. As a first time mom I felt reassure and safe throughout the whole procedure and the after care. My baby is now resting and healing peacefully like nothing even happened. Thank you again."
"Today Rabbi Weiner performed a Brit milah for my grandson. He was wonderful, caring, compassionate and did an excellent job! He made our simcha very memorable! As a first time boy mom I was extremely anxious on how the Bris will go and who the Mohel will be. I was recommended Rabbi Alex Wiener by many! He took all the anxiety away and made sure to answer all my questions and made himself available whenever needed. He has hands of gold and very pleasant to work with! would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends!
Rabbi Wiener was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend using him for your baby’s Bris. He was so gentle, caring and experienced. He was always accessible to talk with and helped us daily with our Son’s aftercare. We were very pleased with him and will definitely use him for any future children! Thank you Rabbi!!!
What a kind and caring rabbi! As he says… he brings everything but the baby and how true! From aftercare needs to kosher wine in a can… he had it all! The bris was lovely with anecdotes about brit milahs, prayers, photo ops, there was even a beautiful certificate for my son. He did a great job with the procedure itself and continued to check in on us. Highly recommend!
We were so lucky to have Rabbi Alex Weiner do our son's bris. He was absolutely amazing — calm, professional, and incredibly clear in his explanations. From start to finish, he made us feel at ease, and the entire process was smooth and respectful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
We asked Rabbi Alex to be our son’s Mohel. The bris was on a Saturday and Alex walked all the way to our apartment which was far away. Alex did an amazing job circumcising our son and showing us how to take care of this later on. Alex also kept checking with us and available for any questions we had. I highly recommend Rabbi Alex if you need a Mohel!!
I could not give a stronger recommendation for Rabbi Alex Wiener. First off, and most importantly, he performed an exceptional procedure. On top of that, his communication before, during, and after the special day was above and beyond. Any questions were answered quickly and clearly, and Alex went the extra mile to check in afterwards and address any concerns. With Rabbi Alex, you and your family are in the best "hands".
